Shopify

The Kenzi Shopify app adds the chat widget to your online store and syncs your order and customer data into Kenzi.

  1. Visit the Kenzi Chat listing in the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Install and review the permissions, then click Install app.
  3. The app opens inside your Shopify admin.
  1. In the Kenzi app screen, click Sign in with Google (or Facebook).
  2. If you don’t have a Kenzi account yet, one will be created automatically.
  1. After signing in, you’ll see a list of your Kenzi workspaces.
  2. Select the workspace you want to connect to this shop.
  3. Click Connect.

Kenzi will start syncing your Shopify order and customer data in the background — this may take a few minutes depending on how many orders you have.

  1. On the Kenzi app settings screen, toggle Enable Widget on.
  2. That’s it — the chat widget will now appear on your online store.

When your team is online in Kenzi, visitors will see your agents and can start a conversation. When no one is online, the widget offers an email option so visitors can still reach you.

To remove the widget from your store, toggle Enable Widget off in the Kenzi app settings. You can re-enable it at any time.
